
Everyone is welcome at our meetings. Just come along to any of our meetings. If you do wish to contact any of our committee members please feel free to so by sending a message via ClubPlan.
The committee members are volunteers. They share the management of the club as follows:
President
Responsibilities:
• To encourage and support all Berkeley Square Speakers members – both present and future
• To feel good about taking risks and achieve a new level of confidence as Toastmasters.
• To continue creating an exciting and ever expanding club, with a mutually supportive committee who enjoy having fun together.
Vice President – Education
Responsibilities:
• To reserve speaking slots and roles for members, and to organise each meeting programme.
• To encourage members to complete all speeches outlined in the Communication & Leadership manual – ultimately attaining the status of Certified Toastmaster (CTM).
Vice President – Membership
Responsibilities:
• To encourage and promote membership and to process applications for – and queries relating to – membership.
Vice President – Public Relations
Responsibilities:
• To promote Berkeley Square Speakers through a variety of channels.
Secretary
Responsibilities:
• To act as a secretary to the committee and to ensure that stationery and props are available for each meeting.
Sergeant at Arms
Responsibilities:
• To set up the room prior to each meeting, as well as greeting and meeting guests and counting votes during the meeting.
